Pastor’s Help - Discipline

I shared this with one of our youth yesterday at our church. This young lady is exceptionally smart. She has been an A student during all her years in school and now she’s going into her 3rd year in college. God blessed her to graduate from high school with a full ride - a 4 year scholarship academically. Not from playing any sports. Nothing wrong with sports, but she got her ride from the books! What I said to her was “Daughter you have the mental ability and you are smart enough to become whatever you want to be, but the question I’m asking you is do you have the discipline to accomplish it?” What are you saying pastor? Jesus gave us what we needed to be born again Christians. So I’m asking, do we have the discipline to follow the instructions of God’s Word and be it?
