Pastor Carl Wesley Gray
Anointed teacher, psalmist, and spiritual shepherd, Pastor Carl Wesley Gray serves as the Pastor of New Life Community Church in East Spencer, NC. Born into a family deeply rooted in faith, Pastor Carl's journey in ministry began with a musical calling, playing drums and keyboard under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Despite offers from larger churches, Pastor Carl remained obedient to God's calling, returning to Statesville to support his father before accepting his divine call to preach. Installed as pastor in 2013, Pastor Carl, alongside his wife Lady Vicky Gray, whom he married in November 2014, tirelessly serves their congregation with humility and a deep desire for their spiritual growth, embodying a commitment to sharing the transformative power of God's word with all who seek it.
Lady Vicky Gray
Anointed as Elect Lady of New Life Community Church in East Spencer, NC, Lady Vicky Gray brings a lifetime of spiritual devotion and leadership to our congregation. Raised in Brooklyn, NY, Lady Vicky's journey has been shaped by her faith, leading her to serve in various ministries before settling in Charlotte in 2007. As a Legal Assistant by profession, she finds fulfillment in serving both her church and community, believing fervently in God's limitless power and the importance of empowering others. Married to Pastor Carl Gray since 2014, Lady Vicky oversees the Women's Ministry at New Life, where her heartfelt mission is to help women embrace their worth, find empowerment, and walk confidently in the purpose God has ordained for them, embodying the spirit of Ephesians 3:20.
